Hope Lies at 24 Frames Per Second
Notes On French Cinema
I'm hosting a day dedicated to the work of Jean-Luc Godard next month.
In which I take an in-depth look at the Nouvelle Vague.
This somewhat forgotten 1972 black comedy saw the French filmmaker working again with his first leading lady.
It seems completely befitting for the inaugural post of the relaunched Hope Lies to be one paying homage to Francois Truffaut.
Notes on French cinema from Adam Batty.
